If you haven't heard of Wei Beauty then here is a little brief! Years back, in the heart of China, a young tomboy found her joy in running in fields, climbing trees, digging dirt, picking herbs, and discovering their many uses. Her hobby was studying traditional Chinese medicine with Doctor Li. If you want to know more you can read here. This post is dedicated to the Wei Beautys amazing sheet masks. I cant really justify how amazing they are but I will try my best with a few words! I have tried a lot of 'sheet masks' when I first discovered sheet masks I was almost scared that it may off clogged pores as having a wet slimy sheet nearly covering your face! After a few different try's of sheet masks I was sold, they worked, they made my skin feel good and showed the benefits. Not till I tried the Wei Beauty masks was I really sold. Lets be completely honest, I never heard of the brand Wei Beauty till this year. I think it has more off a hype in the US. So I went in with a blind eye lets say! Trying a product I never knew about never heard of etc. Mung Bean Sprout Stress-Relieving Soothing Mask comes in a tube with a sheet mask inside and also has own tweezers with each one to drag the mask out! Little touches like this make me really appreciate a brand that even bit more. Mung Bean has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine to nurture the body while cooling the skin. So what does Mung bean sprout offer? Its a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that will help supply the skin with rich protein moisture to the skin. The Chinese licorice root helps to heal skin and really dig down on blemishes, while the cucumber extract helps to hydrate the skin and soothes. The aftermath this mask has had on my skin is second best to nothing! The mask got very intense and had a red effect on my skin and tingling sensation, which to me means the item is working! I still have the Millet Sprout Instant Smoothing Nourishing Mask to try which I am super excited for!
xo I love my cups of tea.. after all I am English ;) Recently I discovered a brand called Vivid Drinks they say that their drinks are powered by organic matcha green tea which is from japan! Every carton contains natural caffeine and the L-theanine which is to help busy brains stay sharp and alert. All of the Vivid drinks are 100% unsweetened if you already wasn't aware sugar is proven to negatively impact on the brains performance.
With the weather heating up in the UK at the moment its hard to even get dressed never mind run around doing normal things! I should be in a bikini by a beach.. duh..
Light cool clothes that still look good are a big yes! I have been loving pastel colours at the moment, here is my outfit yesterday for a important day yet I still managed to keep cool(ish) My top is from Asos. Pants are by Oasis. Sandals are from Matalan and Sunglasses are Rayban! Remember to stay extra hydrated during the hot days! xo Back when I tried the Proactiv+ 3 step skincare I fell in love with the brand. Little did I know they have a makeup line just starting out I am guessing! You can shop the product here. I got to try the Proactiv+ Repairing Concealer Quad with 4 shades in, my first expectations was high! After all this is a skincare brand... if they cant work magic then who can.... The packaging is really simple and good size for carrying around for touch up during the day with a mirror included in the compact! Here are the 4 shades, Light-Medium-Tan-Dark. The perfect combination for contouring?! I did try to contour with it and was really impressed how it turned out although I never contour hardly. The formula wasn't too creamy like you expect in a concealer such as the nars or urban decay, which made me a little nervous to put on my skin never mind under my eye bags! It includes salicylic acid (1.5% to be exact) to help treat blemishes as it conceals them which is something I always look for in a makeup product! I love the feeling off my skin being treated while still having makeup on! So if you are covering a blemish you can be reassured its helping and not making it worse! I took the lightest shade under my eyes where I was happily surprised how it didn't make the fine lines stand out or increase the dryness that I had at the time. It brighten up the area quite nice. Covering a red blemish with this is also really effective, as for blemishes that maybe more on the fresh side.. I found it difficult to blend in as the formula is quite a thicky texture like I said before. Overall I have continued to use the product and has been inputted into my routine most days! xo If you’re a frequent reader you already know I have never had anything put onto my hair… only cut! I am always careful when using new hair products whether that be hair masks, shampoos and conditioners! Ive been on the lookout lately for hair products that people are raving about and that look the part. I heard of Julien Farel before but never tried it! If you want to read more into the brand itself and Julien Farel follow this link. Also before I get started.. here is a quote from the website that I spotted and love! I love the hydrate Shampoo and Condition after my first use I could just tell how different my hair was after blow drying it. Not only the smell that caught my attention but the way my hair felt. Soft and silky which I think not all hair care provides that certain feeling! I also noticed my hair looks more full and bounced up then normal.. you know like one of those ‘hair adverts’ ;) My hair really has never felt better than at this time! I will defiantly be repurchasing! I am yet to try the hydrate restore product! As soon as I do a review will be up xo Long haul flights, you've even been their or not. I class long haul flights as anything more than 4+hours. I've done a good share of short and long haul flights and can say I find them both easy. I have a friend who travelled for 3 hours and hated it! Couldn't wait to get off. I also have a friend who hates the thought of being on a plane for 5+hours! You can either love long flights or hate! I've travelled since a really young age and it has never bothered me in the slightest. After speaking to my friend and trying to convince her that its really not that bad on a flight for 10+hours I got inspired to write down the tips I told her to make it just that bit easier and more relaxing for someone who runs at the idea! First things first! Don't set yourself up the disaster! What I mean by this is don't go into it thinking "Uh this flight is going to be hell" "I can not wait for this to be over" If you have done long haul before and you know that you do find it difficult being sat in the same spot for a number of hours, why not consider upgrading? Of course this a extra price but will be so worth it. First class has a lot more comfort and room for you to feel more at ease than in economy unless travelling my a A380 (airbus) which all seats are pretty spacious! Take a nap! Really, its easier than it sounds when your in the sky! With literally nowhere to go or no view change for hours, sleeping is your best friend! Before you know it 5 hours will go by! Just when I think I wont sleep on a flight I end up having a good nights sleep! Load up on your devices... your phone, laptop , things to keep you entertained and busy. Normally long haul flights will have a selection of the newest movies to watch! Some airlines provide you with earplugs that are new and you can keep, but its always nice to have your own! Make a check list of what you plan to do on this vacation or work trip. Write notes or plan ahead. Hydration is just as important up their as it is when your feet are on the ground, if not even more important. Cabin pressure is dry and will air zap moisture from your skin. stock up on your bottled water and always bring hand creams. Take a walk up and down the plane to stretch your legs, this will reduce a risk of DVT Deep Vein Thrombosis. While some people are probably at a 0% chance of this its always good to stay safe. Happy flying! xo |
