Growing up is one of the most hardest and exciting things any of us will do, When we eventually get there or think we have most of us will question whether or not anyone really is a grown up! What is grown up?! I find myself asking how do I become more 'adult' is their a certain way I need to do this or adjust myself?
Here is 5 things I would tell my younger self if I could go back and some younger photos!
Here is 5 things I would tell my younger self if I could go back and some younger photos!
1) The biggest one has to be don’t rush to grow up and act older! It happens in a blink of an eye and you cant believe it. Stay as young and silly for as long as you can! Wear those embarrassing bright colour trainers and hold your mums hand in public with lots of fake tattoos! One day your going to be responsible for a lot of things and trust me you don't want to hurry that up! Just enjoy this time you have to be young and crazy!
2). Everything will be okay Yes your going to lose people, have heart ache, feel alone and confused about everything!. Nothing is ever really permanent, so next time you’re stuck up in thoughts of how awful everything seems to be in the moment just remember how you want your future to be and how your going to do what you love.
3) Eat that chocolate and as much as you want without feeling guilty! Because later on in life it turns out don't like chocolate very much anyway and rarely eat it.
4) Stop trying to plan everything out before it comes around, hardly anything in life will go the direction you tend to think so stop worrying! The only promise that life guarantees is that the sun comes up every morning.
5) Enjoy the drama free life before the internet comes around and steals everyone's head! Dear younger me, the Internet will change everything around the world. Sometimes for the worse but sometimes for the best. So before it actually becomes an must have of your everyday routine and your job, enjoy your life without it. Get muddy and play with stones and sticks! The next generation will be stuck in the world of technology and probably wont understand what getting muddy is!
6) Dear younger me you will quickly realise that you acutally don't want to follow the crowd from quite a young age. You will spend a year or so in high school thinking and wondering why these people think they are so amazing and more better than everyone else?! You will soon understand its stupid and that you 100 percent don't want to ever be like that.
I hope you enjoyed this post! I see so many people writing about what they wish they had told their younger self and there is plenty more I could write but here are my 6 main ones! Maybe in another 5 years I will wish I would have told myself things now!
