Today I am writing about something that really catches my attention when I’m on the popular social site Instagram.
I remember when Instagram first started up in 2010 I did not sign up straight away as most people, infact I was late signing up in late 2012. It was all so innocent back then well (in my opinion) today it’s full of fake accounts, Photoshop, and full of people wanting attention of people they don’t even know!
As much as I love the site and do like to share things that happen within my life I like to keep a lot private as you just don’t know who could be looking. This photo has been on the web for abit know and it’s by a Vancouver based street artist whose work is similar to iconic Banksy who shared this What do you think?
This photo shows a little boy crying because no one likes his Instagram post…
For me I do not go fishing for likes or get upset if someone does not like my post or follow me, I simply post what I want & like so why should anyone care what others think?
Everyone is obsessed with social media, every platform is flooded with selfies and every like, new followers or comment serves to validate an existence?! It’s crazy and so scary. Who knows what the future holds for social media? It can only get bigger right and even more powerful.
