Animal extinction is a real day to day problem in the world that we are in.
Everyday animals in the wild are faced with being endangered, Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Tigers and a lot more.
I am really passionate about all animals in the wild but today I wanted to talk about Lions. They are by far my favourite animal, oh and really threatened.
So I thought I’d give you all an insight as what is actually going on, a lot of people wouldn’t believe it.
Well-known for its majesty and nicknamed "the king of the jungle," the lion owns both beauty and strength. Lions vary in colour but typically sport light yellow-brown coats.
The lion population in Africa has been reduced by half since the early 1950s. Today, fewer than 21,000 remain in all of Africa, lions are basically restricted to secure areas, and the poaching of animals. I know a lot of people will think how am I supposed to help? Maybe you don’t want to donate money or go to extreme measures but you can for sure sign a lot of petitions on the internet, getting more people to do this will help with poaches and the law.
I mean how does it feel you great grandchild might not know what a lion is? They only see photos? I just can’t imagine that it’s sad.
